"Cleaning, gaugening and inspecting the 5.4 km 6" Ethylene pipeline. The purpose of inspecting the Ethylene pipeline is to determine and record the integrity and geometrical data of the pipeline in order to comply with legal requirements.

Before the inspection, the pipeline must be emptied and inerted in order to create a non-explosive and safe environment for the activities that are planned.

The first week the pipeline was displaced by means of cup pigs, followed by inerting so that the customer could work on the pipeline performed in a safe and non-explosive environment. The pipeline was then filled with product and the inspection was carried out.
